Key Discussions and Action Items:

1. Upcoming Redcoats Tour

• Mike to send options for April tour

• Private tour could include:

  • Cathedral or cathedral close

  • River and canal

  • History

  • Exeter's royal visitors over 1000 years

  • The Blitz of Exeter

• Maximum of 20 people

2. Communication

• Updates to be shared through newsletter and WhatsApp group

3. Tree Planting

• Planting date set for 22nd February at 1 pm

4. Finances

• £1350 in the account. Clif has reconciled accounts and all balances, funding for community orchard

5. Community Projects

• University will do printing for cheap

• Could get a university link student to attend future RA meetings

• RA to attend university meetings

• We may be able to use the university buildings for community projects/activities.

6. Planning and Development

• Changes to Article 4 discussed (possibility of student housing)

• Neighbourhood plan may be needed for the area

7. Focus for 2025

• Kids play area improvements

• Planting bulbs in verges, Exeter wellbeing could provide bulbs for planting etc. (Natalie Smith)

• Student accommodation on old factory site are expected to start later this year

8. Events

• Redcoats tour

• Easter egg hunt in the park

9. Other

• Recommendations page on website for local companies

• Potential for RA to have a defibrillator
