1. Financial Update 

• The current balance in the Residents Association bank account was updated from £986.22 to £694.59 due to purchase of new football goals. 

2. Update from Michael Mitchell 

New Neighbourhood Highway Engineer assigned and the following has been agreed/arranged: 

• Lines on New North Road to be redefined to improve turning traffic flow 

• Parking at recycling area – signage to prohibit overnight lorry parking 

• Railings to be installed on footpath by recycling area  

• School signage for crossing area at bottom of WGR for better access to bus stop 

• Bench next to bus stop bottom WGR to be repaired 

• Concerns were raised regarding parking around Thomas Hall School. 

• Wrefords Lane speed signage to be improved 

• Resurfacing Allington Mead 

• Discussed Johnson site no further update 

• Repairs to fencing at Johnsons completed 

4. Community Events and Activities 

Cathedral Tours 

• Interest was expressed in Mike’s Cathedral tours – September Saturday afternoon 

Red Coats Event 

• Mike Richards to circulate dates  

• Possible Quayside venue discussed. 

• Custom mid-week evening in June  

Silent Disco 

• Victoria to set up a poll on WhatsApp group - 11 July 2026 

• Des to follow up with Leone regarding room hire. 

5.  Newsletter Items 

• Add request for nominal contributions to the newsletter. 

• Propose team for quiz at Thatched 

• Promo “Free Movement” sessions: 

• Thursday evenings at 6:30pm 

• Sundays at 9:00am
